Nylon Coated Rods Our ball-bearing handle has been one of the most recognizable in the industry, and our coating is the thickest on the market. Be Aware: TM Solution by Sinclair International and Montana X-Treme Solutions have been found to attack the nylon coating of our coated rods. We recommend using our brass or stainless-steel rods with these solutions. Please note: .22 Rimfire and CZ Shooters – .20 caliber cleaning rods, are recommended as the .22 caliber rods have been found to be at times too large to fit through those tight barrels. You will also need to order the 17A adapter (converts rod to accept standard 8/32 male threads) for use with the .22 cal. jags, mops, brushes, etc. All cleaning rods are of one-piece construction unless otherwise stated and all listed rod lengths do not include the handle assembly. They are the working length of the rods, add an additional 3″ for the overall length.
